A BLACKPOOL tackle shop owner recently took his personal best catch -- and it took him 20 minutes to land it!
Chris Webb (pictured with his whopping catch), who owns the Bait n' Tackle shop on St Annes Road, caught the 8lb brown trout using a gold head corixa fly at the Bank House Fishery near Lancaster last week.
Chris is an experienced beach caster and has caught many big fish in the sea but has only recently turned his hand to fly fishing.
He said: "It was a real struggle landing the fish but after a long struggle I eventually managed it. He put up quite a fight.
"It's the biggest trout I have caught so I was just pleased to finally catch it especially as I am quite new to fly fishing."
