DISABLED people now have a new 'one stop' centre after three local services in Blackpool joined forces.
The new Disability Information Service is an amalgamation of Disability Services LTD, Rideability and Shopmobility under one roof at a new town centre location in Clifton Street.
The new comprehensive service offers information on sport, housing, public transport and any other disability issue.
Blackpool South MP Gordon Marsden attended the opening ceremony this week to offer his support for the project and co-ordinator of Disability Information Service Alan Reid, said: "This new facility brings all disabled services together. It is a one stop shop for people with disabilities."
Anyone interested in helping out can contact Alan on (01253) 625553.
