A MAJESTIC 134 by Mick Manley helped Eccleston to thrash a helpless Winwick side on Saturday.

Mick's splendid knock was the highlight of the Bobbies Lane side's 300-5. But there was also an impressive effort from Karl Smith who amassed 79.

When Winwick batted they were bundled out for a paltry 17. Rob Creak took 6-5 and Andy Elliot 2-11.

And Eccleston were back among the runs on Sunday, when they took on Wigan St Johns.

Put into bat, Eccleston made 184-5. The highlight of the innings was a superb 76 not out from the ageless Trevor French.

He was well supported by Karl Smith with 62.

St Johns' replied ended on 162-9, with Creak taking 3-40, Elliot 2-24 and John Parry 2-26.
