DO you remember the Cleveleys Savoy entertainment complex on Victoria Road in its heyday?
If so, you could have some valuable information for a woman who is desperately trying to trace some fond memories and an unknown member of her family.
Linda Coffey, who now lives with her husband in North Wales, was just a small child when she used to go to the Savoy. Her father, Wright Leach, pictured here, was manager there between 1944 and 1949.
The Tudor-style fronted building, now a market, was a popular haunt for local people and Mrs Coffey can remember Jack who ran the films, and Miss Bailey, the cook.
She would like to contact usherettes, confectionery counter or pay box assistants who worked there during this period or anybody who knew her father around this time. After her father's death in 1984, Linda was told by a relative that she may have a half brother as a result of a relationship her father had with one of the staff at the Savoy.
She would love to hear from anyone who has any information to help trace her half brother, who would have been born during the time her father was manager at the complex.
"My father and I were very close and I should be just delighted of I could trace another family," said Linda.
With both her parents now dead, Linda's past memories are even more precious.
Anyone with any information can contact her on (01244) 532629.
