AFTER reading the letter in the Citizen's June 6 issue, titled 'Trip to theatre was a let-down', I felt I had to reply.

I also watched The Mikado at the Charter Theatre and, although the theatre was half empty, the cast and orchestra made the show the most enjoyable I have seen in a long time.

I say congratulations to the Carla Rosa Opera for a brilliant show and thought it was worth every penny.
