MERSEYSIDE Police are appealing for help from the public to identify a man found in a confused condition in Mill Lane, Sutton.
The man wandered into a shop at about 4.20pm on Sunday, June 18 and collapsed . He was taken by ambulance to Whiston Hospital. He is still in hospital and his condition is described as very poorly.
The man is white, aged 65/70 years, 5ft 7in tall and bald on top with dark/grey hair about the ears. He had stubble on his chin and a large scar inside his right forearm running from top to bottom. He was wearing a red/maroon T-shirt with 'Scilly isles' motif, blue jeans, navy blue/black slippers and a Timex wrist watch.
He had no identification on him and only a small amount of cash.
