WHERE did you come from -- you that besmirch this land so fair?

Your pursuit of aggression and blood-letting does not make you the warriors you crave to be.

You are looked at in utter distaste by us who remember those who died so that you and I may live, not to bully the weak but to live in a fractious peace. I in my 73rd year live in part anguish and hope that you never know the horrors of a state that is real war.

I wonder, when in nostalgic thought, did the banning of school boxing foster the bullies who do not like one-to-one? Has television created watchers instead of do-ers? Do we spend enough on sport for our youth?

I long to know the secret of your undoubted business acumen that can keep you travelling watching soccer while unemployed.

That is not sarcasm, but a try to understand. Did our well-meant social security blind us with political immaturity?
