Cricket legend Sir Viv Richards hit local fans for six when he returned to his old stamping ground.
Sir Viv came back to Rishton Cricket Club, where he played as professional in the 1980s, as part of a television roadshow for Channel 4.
During his weekend innings at the club he took part in a question and answer session and gave television viewers a detailed run-down of the history of the club and the many top class players who have turned out for it over the eyars.
Around 130 people turned up for the cricketing forum and 300 for the following day's events, which included a coaching session.
"He was very popular and it was great to see him back," said David Shepherd, a committee member at Rishton and assistant secretary of the Lancashire League.
"People from all over the Lancashire League came along and I think they did quite well behind the bar!"
