KEVIN Ryan's remarkable success story continues with a double at Ripon on Sunday.

There's Desraya, owned by the Pendle Inn syndicate, and Gralmano, owned by Colerton Moor Racing which is another public house partnership in Leicestershire.

Gralmano 11-1 and Desraya 4-1 was a 59-1 double and I had tipped Desraya earlier in the week to win at Sandown, but the plea to run him changed for what looked an easier race at Ripon.

Gralmano was one of my horses to follow for the season and going by the phone calls I received yesterday, quite a few readers had them doubled.

Tomorrow at Goodwood the Paul Cole-trained Atmospheric must have a great chance in a very competitive Group Three for two-year-olds.

At the same meeting the Alan Berry-trained Zietun2zeen who has not had a bad race all season in better company will take all the beating in this company.

At Musselburgh, Mick Channon is making the long journey from West Isley, which he purchased off Her Majesty the Queen, to run Extra Guest and surely the long trip will pay off.

Paul Cole runs the lightly raced John Ferneley in the William Hill mile at Goodwood on Thursday, he runs well when fresh and I expect a big run from him.

I am looking forward to a good day's racing at Thirsk on Friday and a horse I would love to see win for the Ribble Valley owners Michael and Candice Reilly is Cool Prospect who I believe will win a big handicap this season and has been a model of consistency in his last four races.

I suppose in the same race I will have to give some support to Tony Fawcett's Benzoee and I will be in Tony's box overlooking the winning post.

I will also be cheering on Visitation out of Bishop of Cashell who I bought in the seller at Southwell last Friday and sold it to Tony Fawcett within five minutes of arriving back at Hambleton. If it wins I will probably kick myself very hard when nobody is looking. On Saturday I intend to back only one horse, a colt by Bishop of Cashell again, called Cardinal Venture who I have mentioned a few times before, but hopefully he will make Saturday's initial run a winning run.

Gralmano is entered at Doncaster on Saturday and Chester on Sunday and will be hard to beat wherever Kevin Ryan decides to enter him.

On Sunday at Chester, Kevin has four horses entered -- Hambleton Highlite, Gralmano, Eastern Purple and Manorbier.

Manorbier has had a good break and always runs well fresh, but Hambleton Highlite will run a big race as long as the jockey does not hold him up.

I am off to Goodwood in about six hours time at 8pm with Kevin Ryan to support Eastern Purple and of course assist with the driving, but I think Eastern Purple will run a great race later today.

Have a good week.
