MORE than 100 potential students attended a series of "taster days" in the childhood studies department at Blackburn College.
Members of the college team organised sessions to help school leavers see the facilities, meet the teaching team and look at the curriculum before they join courses at the Feilden Street site.
Former Darwen Moorland High School pupil Alison Cocker was among those who attended the days.
She said: "I've really benefited from seeing qualified nursery nurses working in their daily role and from visiting the college."
