LEEDS United have failed in a bid to land Blackburn Rovers' first team physio Dave Fevre.
But the Elland Road club have managed to lure three other members of Rovers' backroom staff, including Ewood chief scout John Seasman and Academy recruitment officer Clive Richards.
Former Rovers boss Brian Kidd is believed to be behind the swoop following his appointment as head of youth development at United.
Fevre had been identifed as the perfect candidate to fill the void left by Dave Swift's departure as first team physio at Elland Road.
But the former Manchester United man has decided to stay loyal to Rovers, prompting United to move in for Dave Hancock from the club's Academy instead.
"Leeds enquired for Dave but he has decided to stay with us and we are absolutely delighted by that because he's an important part of our push for the Premiership," said chief executive John Williams.
Hancock was on duty for the first time for his new club in their 3-2 friendly victory over Rovers at Ewood last night.
Chief scout Seasman has also crossed the Penines to take up a new role in United's Academy.
And youth recruitment officer Richards will join him in a similar capacity.
