ROYAL mail is making price changes to its business services.
The price increases on International Sorted and Direct Entry mail will be in place from October 23.
A four per cent rise in the cost of International Sorted, which will target businesses sending mail to a number of countries, is due to the new payment system between European postal administrations for dealing with each other's mail.
A rise in domestic prices charged by post offices abroad has led to the increase for Direct Entry.
The Royal Mail will account for as much of the increases as possible and will cap the rises at a maximum of 30 per cent.
