A MOTORCYCLIST who went on to the footpath to undertake two vehicles chose the wrong moment -- as police were watching, Burnley magistrates heard.
Lee Graham Howard, 25, of Hunslett Street, Burnley, was stopped by police at a roundabout.
Howard, whose partner is expecting twins, admitted driving without due care and attention, without insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
He was banned from driving for six months, fined £220 and ordered to pay £35 costs.
Chairman of the bench James McGowan told Howard if he appeared before him again for the same offence, he would remember. He warned the defendant: "I don't forget faces."
Dylan Bradshaw, defending, said what Howard had done was idiotic.
He did not have the good sense to look around him when he went on the footpath for a moment, as the police were close by.
