PUPILS at St Mary's Catholic High School in Blackpool have proved they are streets ahead when it comes to knowing about road safety after winning a specially created quiz.
St Mary's were up against competition from Collegiate and St George's High Schools in the initial heats, which were held at the town hall recently and featured team question rounds, individual questions and beat-the-buzzer rounds.
The final was held at the Norbreck Castle, where the team, pictured here, was up against Montgomery and Palatine schools.
