POLICE are hunting a pervert who indecently assaulted a 14-year-old girl while she was out walking along Lytham Road, Blackpool.
The incident happened at around 9.45pm on Saturday, July 22, when the girl was in a phone box near St Peter's Church.
He approached the phone box making lewd comments and as she tried to leave he violently pushed her back inside.
The petrified girl fortunately managed to fend off her attacker and escape. He was of mixed race or Asian, approximately 45, and was 5ft 5ins.
He had dark brown hair which was combed into a left hand parting, was medium to well built and wore a long sleeved yellow shirt tucked into black trousers or jeans.
AT around 11.30am on Wednesday, July 26, a girl was assaulted by a man and a woman in Bethesda Road, Blackpool.
The couple approached her and asked for a cigarette, but when she refused and walked away they dragged her to the ground by her hair and kicked her in the face.
The female assailant is described as white, slim with long blonde hair. She was wearing a pink top and black pedal pushers and spoke with a Liverpool accent. A THEFT took place at Halfords on Squires Gate Lane, Blackpool, at about 4.10pm on Wednesday, July 19. The thief stole a bike from a display while staff were occupied then rode off towards the main road. He was male, mid 20s, 6ft and scruffy looking and wore gold frame glasses.
A PENSIONER had her handbag snatched as she was walking her dog in Ashton Gardens near St George's Road, Lytham, on July 20. She refused to let go and the callous thug dragged her to the ground. Passers by intervened but he escaped. He was white, 5ft 8ins, aged around 20, with mousy brown hair and a pale complexion.
A BOY of 14 was pushed off his mountain bike by a man who then stole it on Blackpool Promenade on Friday, July 21. The man was about 20, stocky and 5ft 8ins and was wearing a blue baseball cap and Adidas tracksuit bottoms.
WHILE a 72-year-old woman and her husband were in their garden in Bardsway Avenue, Blackpool, a man sneaked into the house and stole a total of £245 and a gold locket. He was confronted by the woman's husband and made an excuse and left. He was aged 40, stocky and about 5ft 4ins, with curly hair and a moustache and drove off in a dark coloured, dirty car.
A 68-YEAR-OLD lady was robbed in Regent Road, Blackpool, on Friday, July 28. A female pushed her in the back and stole her purse containing cash and other items. She was white, quite plump with ginger hair and was wearing black leggings.
