INSURANCE salesman Arfan Azad refused to stop shouting, despite being warned by police.
Blackburn magistrates heard that he was eventually arrested by officers dealing with two groups of young men facing each other across Feilden Street, in Blackburn.
Azad, 22, of St James Road, Blackburn, admitted a breach of the peace and was bound over in the sum of £100 to keep the peace for six months.
A charge of disorderly behaviour was withdrawn.
Basharat Ditta, defending, said the two groups had been in the same bar and, as they left, there had been some banter.
He said his client had spoken to a female officer, who said she would go and see what was going on but, in the meantime, another patrol arrived and Azad and others were arrested.
