SCRUM Half Ian Watson swept the board at the Swinton Lions supporters club presentation night last Friday evening.
A packed house saw the mercurial Watson collect Player of the Year, Players Player of the Year and Junior Lions Player of the Year.
Ian paid tribute to his teammates and whilst ackowledging that the team had underachieved last season, he vowed that next year the Lions would be going all out to reach the grand final.
Second row forward Paul Smith was the supporters choice as runner up and the popular Marlon Billy was third.
Paul Smith also picked up the honest endeavour award which is presented in memory of former Lion Ian Skeech.
The biggest cheer of the night was reserved for Wayne English who won the young player award and surely Gigg Lane fans can look forward with relish to seeing the exciting young full back in full flow next year
