YOUNG adventurers celebrated the end of a two-week summer holiday play scheme with a disco at Blackburn Rovers' Ewood Park ground.
The group all took part in the Blackburn with Darwen Council Passport 2000 initiative, which began in July and lasted two weeks.
As part of the scheme youngsters aged between 13 and 16-years-old were allowed free bus travel and free entry to venues across Blackburn and Darwen as well as the chance to take part in an extensive range of challenges, events and activities.
Passport 2000 was developed by the authority as part of the Manchester Commonwealth 2002 legacy which is designed to help create interest and awareness in the games and including everything from football coaching to life-saving skills and archery.
