KEEN golfers are being invited to take part in a charity competition.
Blackburn Rotary Club is holding a competition at Pleasington Golf Club on August 30 to raise funds for the East Lancashire Hospice and Macmillan Nurses.
The competition has already attracted 15 teams, but 10-15 more are needed to make it a success.
Competition organiser George Wade said: "Last year we got 25 or 30 teams with absolutely no problem whatsoever. The competition is a few weeks earlier this year, so I don't know if the holidays are affecting the entries, or whether there is another competition on the same day."
Entry is £180 per team of four, and teams can be ladies, men or mixed.
