BRITISH Aerospace made plans to airlift hundreds of its staff families -- mainly from Lancashire -- out of Saudi Arabia as the Gulf crisis deepened.
The firm chartered two civil planes to fly home the wives and children of staff living in the Eastern province of the country and other areas at risk from Iraqi attack.
