CUSTOMERS were forced to leave a Bury town centre pub after a fire broke out in an office.
Closing time was quickly brought forward on Saturday night (Aug 5) as around 60 customers at Yates Wine Lodge were preparing to leave the Market Street pub when the fire alarm was activated.
Two fire crews dealt with the blaze, confined to the first floor. Fire damage was in the office but other areas were affected by smoke.
