A TEAM of people with learning disabilities has proved it is a match for anybody.
Blackburn Rovers Learning Disability Football Team proved its soccer skills by coming top of its league for the second year running.
The Pre-Club League, a five-a-side league for adults with learning disabilities, has teams across Lancashire and Greater Manchester competing against each other. The winning team's clients are treated by the CommuniCare NHS Trust, which provides community health services for people in Blackburn, Hyndburn and Ribble Valley.
Blackburn Rovers Football in the Community has organised a special presentation evening at the Willow Mount Working Men's Club, Willow Lane, Accrington, tomorrow at 6.30pm, when Rovers winger Damien Duff will present the trophies.
