BLACKBURN Rovers keeper Alan Miller could be on his way to Bristol City today.
City boss Danny Wilson has sounded out Rovers about taking the former West Brom stopper down to Ashton Gate on loan.
And Ewood chief Graeme Souness believes the move could be in the interests of both the club and the player, with Miller currently third choice behind John Filan and Alan Kelly.
"Its not a done deal yet," said Souness. "But Danny Wilson phoned me up, being a pal of mine, to ask if I could help him out.
"And I think it could be a good chance for Alan to get some competitive action under his belt early on."
Rovers midfielder Darren Dunning has already joined City in a one-month deal.
And there could be more departures on the way with one of Rovers' transfer listed players set to have talks with another club this week.
