MATHS problems add up to a big headache for most people -- but not 12-year-old Konrad Dabrowski.
The number-crunching youngster has been named as one of the top 50 maths brains in the country.
Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School pupil Konrad was judged to be in the elite top 50 after entering the Junior Mathematical Challenge, which attracted more than 150,000 entries.
He was awarded a certificate of distinction and a book of mathematical problems.
Konrad will now join fellow QEGS pupil Samir Singh in the next stage, the Junior Mathematical Olympiad.
Michael Bancroft, head of mathematics at QEGS, said: "To come in the top 50 in an event that attracted 150,000 entries, including boys and girls from some of the best schools in the country, is an outstanding achievement.
"Konrad has proved himself among the very best students of his age."
