ELTON Fold have been given a tough start to their latest Manchester League Premier Division campaign which kicks off with a trip to last season's runners-up, Dukinfield Town on Saturday August 19 (2.30pm).
Tuesday 22 (6.30pm) is their first home game against Gilgyst Cup beaten finalists Pennington before a trip to champions Stand Athletic on Saturday 26 (2.30pm).
This is followed by a home game against Gilgryst Cup holders Atherton Town (6.30pm).
This season's Gilgryst cup draw has also been unkind as Fold must travel again to meet Stand in a first round tie in October.
Fold's reserve team kick-off their campaign on the 19th with a home game against Stand's reserves and also have a home game against East Manchester's second string on the 26th, both 2.30pm.
They have no midweek fixtures.
This Sunday morning the club's under-18 side take on a Bury FC under-18 XI at Elton Vale, kick-off 11am.
