WE would just like to make it clear -- hopefully, once and for all -- that Darwen Gala will be on Saturday, August 19, on Borough Road Field, Bold Venture, Darwen.
Due to an incorrect article in the Blackburn with Darwen Events Diary for 2000, many people are still not aware of the true date and venue.
The 'show' will get on the road at 12.30pm from the Anchor and make its way up to Borough Road for a 1.30pm opening by the Mayor and Mayoress of Blackburn with Darwen.
As in previous years, we can guarantee a wonderful afternoon for all the family, so please do come and support us once again.
