FINE tuning is being completed ready for the start of the Bury Times Motor Show on Sunday (Aug 13).
Top-of-the-range cars will be some of the star attractions at Gigg Lane, the home of Bury Football Club, which is jointly staging the event.
There will be a competition to win a car, an exhibition of in-car entertainment and a display manned by Bury Road Safety Unit.
Members of the RAC, AA, and Institute of Advanced Motorists will also be on hand to give guidance and information.
Other prizes on offer in a whole range of competitions include a Peugeot mountain bike, weekend hire of a Volkswagen Beetle, a suit, and bottles of champagne.
It is the first time the show has been staged as an exclusive event, after having previously been held as part of carnivals or festivals.
Some Bury players are due to attend and Bury firm Birthdays will be staging a special one-day sale on the current Shakers home kit.
Rock band Aurora will provide some of the live entertainment to provide a mix of musical tuning and engine tuning.
Admission is free and the event kicks off at 10am until 5pm.
