ASHLEY Ward's move to Bradford City is far from cut and dried today after a snag in negotiations has put his transfer in jeopardy.
City claim they have had an offer of £1.5m accepted for the 29-year-old striker.
But Blackburn boss Graeme Souness today revealed the club have yet to receive an official bid for the player.
And he insists a deal 'looks unlikely' unless Rovers are completely satisfied with the terms of any agreement.
"There's nothing happening at the minute," said Souness.
"As yet, they haven't made an official offer to us for the player -- it's all come through a third party.
"But it's looking unlikely anything will happen unless there's a re-think."
Nothing is likely to happen in the next 24 hours so Ward has been included in the squad for tomorrow's clash with Crystal Palace at Ewood.
