MATT Jansen has revealed he will definitely be celebrating if he kicks-off the season with a goal against Crystal Palace tomorrow.
The England Under 21 international refused to celebrate last season when his stunning goal at Selhurst looked certain to send his old club into the Second Division.
But Palace then staged a brave fightback that day to beat Rovers 2-1 and secure their First Division status for another season.
And now Jansen is only concerned with firing the goals to get Rovers' promotion challenge up and running.
"It didn't mean anything for us to get a result down there last season whereas they desperately wanted to stay up.
"They had so many problems at the time and I was told by their fans I wasn't allowed to celebrate if I did score.
"So that was the only reason, really. I had to keep my promise to them.
"But I'll definitely be celebrating tomorrow.
"It's good to see them back on their feet again.
"But, hopefully, they won't get a good result until after our game on Saturday."
