FIRMS in Pendle were encouraged to be environmentally friendly during a seminar in Nelson.
The event at the Civic Theatre, Stanley Street, on Wednesday was aimed at helping businesses "go green" by giving them help and advice on a range of topics from waste minimisation to energy saving to general environmental policies.
The evening was organised by environmental group Groundwork East Lancashire, the Business Environment Association and Nelson-based community group Ithaad.
