WELL and truly in the driving seat!
That's Bury-based information technology and software solutions firm Flexsys (UK).
When the Silver Street-located firm wanted the best deal on cars for their directors they used the Bolton and Bury Chamber network.
And the growing company placed £80,000 worth of business with fellow members Smith Knight Fay, who combined service with price and quality.
Barry Marshall, Flexsys director of administration, said: "When we're commissioning new business services, the Chamber network is an excellent starting point because it's a useful indication that a business has good credentials.
"We also prefer to invest in our local community wherever possible," he stressed.
"Through the Chamber network, we were also introduced to the Tickle Group and Tele-Marketing Services Ltd who have proved invaluable in helping us with major sales drives."
Barry continued: "It's so much easier when you can deal with highly skilled companies on your own doorstep.
"We've reaped rich returns from our membership of the Chamber which is also helping us to improve our business development through Investors in People and is helping us to expand into new overseas markets."
With 12 years of involvement in information technology development and support, Flexsys also has offices in France and Germany and its clients include some of the world's largest mainstream users.
