A SPONSORED fancy dress walk along Morecambe promenade netted £2,660 for two prominent local charities.
Home-Start Morecambe and the Royal Lancaster Infirmary central delivery suite received the cash from organiser Joanna Fryers this week.
The cheques were presented by Joanna's seven year old son Joseph who raised £514 of the money himself to Bertha Martin on behalf of the RLI and Judith Thomas, co-ordinator of Home-Start Morecambe.
