IT is apparent that you have taken on an insuperable task -- the best of British luck.
Apart from fresh air which Blackpool has in abundance, it also excels in extracting money. This closure of homes is just a blind to further the extraction process. So they get another £20million on the regeneration process.
Like the £70million, it will be frittered away on projects, for example the Civic News £55,000, toilets for councillors £250,000, painting false fronts on the town, replenishing Queen St, resurfacing Birley St six times et al.
Now they are trying to kill off the elderly. Blackpool looks after its people? Blackpool has a rotten core and unfortunately the fresh air will not revive the town.
