MUf-two Janette Toole was walking tall after completing the 140-mile Tour de Mont Blanc walk in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Janette, who lives in Taylor Road, Haydock, works at the St Helens branch of the Pocket Phone Shop and collected sponsorship pledges and cash from other staff members and customers, as well as from Charlie Chan from Mr Chan's Restaurant, and Motorola Cellular Phones.
She returned from the two-week, gruelling trip at the end of July and has already collected £1,200 for the charity with more to come.
But despite having the time of her life, Janette confessed that she was now looking forward to a well-earned rest with husband, Kevin and their children, 14-year-old Martin and 13-year-old Claire.
