TWO teenage girls were attacked and robbed by a gang of youths as they made their way home from a night out.
The victims, aged 17 and 19, were walking along Lugsmore Lane, Thatto Heath between 12.30 and 1am on Saturday, July 29 when they were approached by the gang of about eight to 10 youths.
Without warning the youths started to punch and kick the two girls before stealing some gold bracelets and running off.
Both girls were taken to hospital where they were treated for concussion. Neither was able to give any description of their attackers and police are appealing for any possible witnesses to come forward.
