WORK by pupils attending summer schools at Queen's Park High School in Blackburn will be on display on a celebration afternoon.
Ninety pupils have been involved in the two week literacy and numeracy programmes along with the gifted and talented school.
Those involved in the literacy and numeracy programmes are 11-year-olds who will be transferring to Queen's Park on Shadsworth Road in September.
Those in the gifted and talented school and are a mixture of new and current pupilsl.
Headteacher Vicki Devonport said the afternoon on August 25 would be a good opportunity to see the work the children had produced and to see the summer schools in action.
She said: "The pupils will be performing some of the work they have prepared during the summer schools and there will be a presentation of awards of achievement and an opportunity to look at the work produced by the pupils."
Visitors are invited to attend between 2pm and 3.15pm.
