WITH former staff living throughout the UK as well as abroad, I am confident that there will be some living in East Lancashire who will be interested in our reunions.
Reunions having been held in 1995, 1996 and 1998, I am arranging a further one, near Andover, over the weekend of September 23/24 for members of the Army Ludgershall Medical Equipment Depot Reunion Group and I have already booked the same venue for a further reunion in September 2002.
Membership of the group is open to all former regular, national service and TA soldiers and civilian staff, regardless as to when they served at the stores, and we currently have just over 200 members living in Spain, Canada and USA, as well as throughout the UK.
All group members receive a newsletter, giving details of new members and listing changes of address or telephone number etc, of existing members.
Those of your readers who are former stores staff and interested in joining the group, either with a view to attending the forthcoming reunion or that planned for 2002, or perhaps just to receive the newsletters, should telephone me on 01691 622300 (leaving a message on answering machine if necessary), and I shall be pleased to provide full details.
CHARLES MASON (Nat Service 1958/59 at the stores), Lanville, Grange Road, Ellesmere, Shropshire.
