A BOY aged seven broke his leg and collar bone and received cuts to his head after being involved in an accident with a car last night.
Callam Sylvester, of Church Street, Church, who was crossing the road in New Lane, Oswaldtwistle, was in collision with a Nissan Sunny driven by Parveen Hassan, 23, of Richmond Hill Road, Accrington.
He was taken to Blackburn Royal Infirmary by ambulance after the accident at around 7.50pm.
His grandma Rita Pilkington, of Margaret Street, Oswaldtwistle, today said: "He broke his leg in two places and also broke his collar bone.
"He has also got a big gash at the back of his head."
A spokeswoman for Blackburn Royal Infirmary today said that Callam was "comfortable."
