POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an accident in Burnley which left a cyclist with bruised ribs and leg.
Cyclist Graham Waddington, 34, of Duke Street, Burnley, collided with a red Vauxhall Cavalier driven by a Abrar Ul-Haque, 37, of Railway Street, Nelson, at the roundabout at the junction of Eastern Avenue and Briercliffe Road, at 7.20am yesterday.
Mr Waddington was taken to Burnley General Hospital but was later released.
PC David Wiggan said: "We know who the people were but there was a lot of traffic there and we want witnesses who saw the accident occur."
