YOUNG striker Anthony Shandran grabbed the only goal of the game as Burnley won a reserve team work-out 1-0 at Huddersfield Town yesterday.
Clarets boss Stan Ternent used the friendly to keep his players ticking over with the start of the reserve league still over a week away.
He gave a run-out to the likes of John Mullin, Micky Mellon, Gordon Armstrong and Ronnie Jepson and reported a clean bill of health after a competitive work-out.
