A MORECAMBE woman's twice weekly visit to her favourite bingo club paid off when she grabbed a national prize of more than £100,000.
The 63-year-old winner, who has not been named, called 'house' in the nightly National Bingo Game, which she plays regularly at the Gala Club in Marine Road East.
The woman, who has not been named, said: "My husband has always made a joke about me playing bingo, but the joke is on him now. This has come just at the right time for our retirement."
She added: "I won £156 three years ago and nearly died of shock then!
"I have been in such a flutter since Friday night. I've not slept or eaten much. I keep pinching myself to see I'm not dreaming."
She intends to share the money with her sister-in-law and also plans to visit relatives in Australia.
She is the second big prize winner at the Morecambe club in the last month, after a Harrogate woman holidaying in the town took home the prize on July 17.
