CUPID smiled on sweethearts Kim Seddon and Tony Jones.
All's well that ends well -- as the newlyweds discovered on Friday when their threatened wedding at Leigh Town Hall turned out perfectly.
Kim, from Hindley Green, had been in tears when her wedding gown and bridesmaids' dresses went up in flames in the disastrous blaze which gutted Leigh's Boulevard shopping centre.
But the happy couple and her trio of pretty bridesmaids were all smiles after replacement outfits were hurriedly hired to make their wedding a day to remember for all the best reasons.
With time running out before the big day Kim located replacement wedding wear at Jenny Curry's Wedding Belles outfitters in Tyldesley.
And Sheila Priestley, proprietor of the Stitch In Time dressmaking business which was blitzed in the Boulevard blaze, shrugged off her worries and stumped-up the £600 hire charge.
"I'm really grateful. It was a wonderful day," smiled Kim, with her attendants -- her three daughters Shayney, 13, Lauren, 12 and Cloey, 8.
After the wedding Leigh landscape gardener Tony and tanning studio assistant Kim and the three girls (pictured) skipped off for a family honeymoon to remember.
They were still smiling when we spoke to them as they made their way from Yorkshire's Flamingoland to Scarborough before returning to Journal-land.
"We've had a brilliant time," said Kim, "thanks to everyone."
