BURY-based luggage firm Antler has bagged a key award.
The company, based in the town's Alfred Street, has been one of the first businesses to be awarded "Supplier of the Quarter" by BT Tools and Consumables.
Antler's award is in recognition of the firm's excellence both in terms of delivery performance and overall service during the period April to June this year.
Antler, one of the UK's leading suppliers of hard and soft luggage and cases, provides the aluminium fabricated instrument cases for BT's out-in-the-field service engineers.
Keith Walker, Antler's carry systems division manager, said: "As demand for telecommunications technology has increased, so has the demand for BT's engineering support and without these cases BT cannot send their service engineers out on the road.
"We have successfully met these demands and the award is in recognition of the support we have provided to BT which has included accelerated deliveries amounting to 1,580 pieces during this period."
BT has only recently reintroduced this award to recognise the importance of the role that their suppliers play in helping the company continue to meet the ever-increasing expectations of customers.
Antler marketing director Brian Wreford commented: "We are extremely proud to have been given this award and it thanks to all our in-house teams who have worked hard to provide these cases, sometimes at short notice, on time and without a single returned product."
