KEN Buxton, the NFA Regional Coach, has just complete a series of successful angling seminars for local youngsters.
The overall winner was David Stephens who had an average of 19.8 points per match. In joint second place were P.Prescott, Sean Keaveney and Jamie Wallwork who all averaged 17.3 points over the six-match series.
The biggest surprise, however, was that the youngest entrant, nine years old Michael Grimes, won the final match with a net of 3lb 7oz to take the Last Chance Shield.
The trophy winners were: Ken Buxton Shield - Daniel Hardman; Leigh Trading Post Cup - David Stephens; Ellesmere Trophy - David Stephens; K.S. Forklifts Cup - James Hibbert; Steve & Joe's Garden Servives Cup - Chris Horan.
A presentation was also made to Ken Buxton from the young anglers.
