BURY athlete Martin Lee heads for Scotland this weekend to compete in Sunday's Glasgow Marathon.
The 36-year-old Rossendale Harrier is enjoying a rich vein of form at the moment and is currently lying eighth overall in the South Pennines fell running Grand Prix series.
And with nine races completed and three remaining - with the best eight performances to count - he is one of the hot favourites to take the overall title.
It promises to be a busy few weeks for the local man and in six weeks time he takes up an invitation to compete in the Cologne Marathon in Germany.
