WYNN Donnelly and three other traders are taking legal advice after difficulties over insurance claims.
Two traders have cover through a Marker Tradeers Association scheme but to others have no insurance.
The difficulty at Wynn's Wallpaper is contradicting advice over the extent of the cover.
"We've been told by someone that we are not insured after-hours but another expert has said to seek legal advice. That's what we are doing," said Wynn whose been in The Boulevard for over seven years "making friends with customers".
"The business was just my life," said a shattered Wynn.
The blaze was no joke for Chris Brady.
After a successful 18 months building up his joke business he's lost everything.
"I wasn't insured," said the boss of Brady's Jokes - a regular funster in the shopping arcade.
Chris was planning to open another stall in Wigan but that's been out back.
"I'm looking to carry on in Leigh because I have lots of youngsters who enjoy come in with their pocket money. We don't want to disappoint them.
"It's taken us 18 months to build up the business and I don't see why we can't do it again."
