UNBEATEN now in eight league matches, Chorley travel to Preston in the Northern Premier League tomorrow.
A victory over the league's bottom club could lift Chorley into the top four in the table, the qualifying position for next season's Lancashire Knockout Trophy.
On Sunday they go to Birch Hall for the Slater Cup semi final meeting with Darwen. The teams have met twice previously this season, Darwen's crushing victory in the league at Birch Hall being counter balanced by a Chorley win at Windsor Park in the National knockout competition.
Chorley have lost the services of promising spinner John Greaves who has left the area to take up a new job in London.
