LABOUR had 18 years to prepare for government and then proclaimed that there were only "24 hours to save the NHS".
Now, more than 28,500 hours later, we are still waiting for the rescue.
Messrs Chaytor and Lewis boldly announced that there will be in the future an extra 36,000 professionals in the NHS. How many, precisely, will that be in Bury. And when?
It will not happen. Why? Labour announced that there would be increases in police numbers. What happened? Police numbers went down and crime increased.
Am I right or am I wrong? Tell us Mr Lewis and Mr Chaytor, exactly what you are going to do in Bury to reduce the escalating crime rate. Make it happen and prove me wrong on both counts?
