THE annual St Helens Chamber Golf Day, held at Houghwood Golf Club, Crank proved once again to be a 'sell-out' success with 14 teams made up of Chamber members and non-members.
Held in association with Tyresave First Stop, other local sponsors included Costco UK Ltd., Print Solutions, A. C. Robinson Structural Engineers, Houghwood Golf Club, Edmund Shew Chartered Accountants and The Thistle, Haydock.
Overall winner of the Tyresave Cup was Martin O'Dwyer of St Helens College; Keith Waddilove, also from the college took second prize, and Mike Quigley of Ravenhead Glass was third. A charity raffle held at the presentation dinner raised more than £300 for the Meningitis Trust.
