POLICE are hoping to return this ring to its rightful owner.
The 22-carat gold ladies' wedding band was recovered when a teenager was arrested in connection with a series of burglaries in Blackburn.
But police have no record of this ring ever being reported stolen and are now trying to trace its owner.
DS Mick Thornber of Blackburn CID said: "We would love to find out where this ring came from and hand it back to the lady who it belongs to."
Anybody with information about the ring should contact CID on 01254 51212.
